Ingredients



    Rice, white, long-grain, regular, raw, enriched, 3 cup
    Split Black Gram (Urad Dal), 1 cup
    Brown Rice, long grain, 1 cup
    Salt, 1 tsp

Directions

Soak rice and dal (separately) for 8 hours
Grind dal in blender until it is a smooth paste, add water as needed. Pour this mixture into a large bowl. In the same belnder, grind the rice to a smooth paste, adding water as needed. Add this to bowl. Grind cooked brown rice is same blender and add to bowl. Stir well to mix. Add salt and mix well. Cover and put in a warm place to ferment overnight. In the morning stir the batter well. Heat a small skillet on low/med heat. spray pan with cooking spray. Put one ladleful of batter into pan. (Spread if it is thick) allow to cook until many bubbles form, the top is dried and the edges are browned. Turn and cook 1 min. Turn and spray this side with cooking spray and then flip to brown that side. Serve with topping of your choice.
