Introduction

This Flax Seed and Wheat Bran combo brings inexpensive hot cereal back to the lo-carb-er's life. Simple to make and good for your "innards"!

It is important that you find and use "sugar-free" Vanilla Extract.

You can use butter in place of Coconut Oil, but it does change the taste and calorie count, but the carbs remain the same.

Ingredients

    4 Tbs Flax Meal
    4 TBS Wheat Bran
    1 tsp. Vanilla Extract (Sugar Free!)
    1 tsp. Ground Cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. Table Salt
    2/3 C Water
    1 Tbs Coconut Oil (or Butter)
    4 Packets of Splenda or to taste

Directions

Put Flax, Bran, Cinnamon and Vanilla Extract in a Microwave save bowl. Add 2/3 to 3/4 cup of water and stir thoroughly. Cook on high in Microwave oven for 90 sec. Add Heavy Cream, Coconut Oil and Splenda. Stir until all ingredients are combined.

Serving Size: Makes 1 cup of cereal cooked
