    4 oz Tilapia filet
    1 Tbsp Vegetable Bouillon Powder, low fat
    3 Black Peppercorns
    1/2 small onion Onion
    1 Bay leaf
    Dash black pepper
    1 crushed garlic clove
    1/2 teaspoon crushed Red Pepper Flakes
    1 pint of tap water


You can also add other vegetables to this eg spinach or okras


Put the water and all ingredients (except the fish) into a large poaching pan, bring to the boil.

Reduce heat to a simmer and then add the fish.

Steam uncovered until opaque and cooked thoroughly about 6 - 8 minutes.
