Introduction

Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 1/4 cup Oats
    1 1/4 cup Lowfat Milk
    1 large Egg
    1 T Oil
    1 t Vanilla
    1/2 cup Whole Wheat Flour
    1/2 cup White Flour
    1 T Sugar
    1 t Baking Powder
    1/2 cup Berries, fresh or thawed

    1 t jelly for topping


Tips

This isn't very flavorful yet. Needs to be adjusted.


Directions

Combine oats and milk. Let sit for 5 minutes.
Combine egg, oil, vanilla & add to soaked oats.
Combine flours, sugar, baking powder, then stir into oat mixture.
Add berries.
On hot griddle or non-stick pan (med-high heat), spoon 1/4 batter per flapjack. Flatten with spoon. Cook til brown, then flip and brown reverse side.
Serve plain or with jelly, etc.
