    1 cup whole, pitted dates
    1 cup dried cherries
    1/4 cup boiling water
    1-1/3 cup whole almonds
    1/4 tsp cinnamon


Cover dates and dried cherries with boiling water, allow to steam for 10 minutes. Drain water from dried fruit and place fruit in food processor. Process until paste. Add whole almonds and grind and process until everything comes together. Add teaspoon of hot water to mixture if it seems dry. Add cinnamon and combine. Press into a 8x8 casserole dish and refrigerate. Cut into 16 bars.
