    1/2 cup each: white flour and whole wheat flour
    1/c cup oatmeal (not instant)
    2 tbsp. ground flax seed
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 cup applesauce (unsweetened)
    1 tbsp. liquid honey
    1 egg
    1 cup milk
    1 cup blueberries (wild are best)


Freezes well. To re-serve, thaw and pop in the toaster.


Mix dry ingredients together. Add egg, applesauce, honey and milk and beat until well combined. Stir in blueberries.
Spray waffle iron with cooking spray and pour in 3/4 cup of batter. Cook until done.

Serving Size: makes 5 6" waffles
