Onions, raw, .25 cup(remove)
*Canola Oil, 1 tbsp(remove)
Mustard seed, yellow, 1.5 tsp(remove)
Turmeric, ground, 1 tsp(remove)
Peas, frozen, 0.75 cup(remove)
Peanuts, dry-roasted, .25 cup(remove
Cilantro-.5 cup chopped
Green hot chili-2 chopped
Salt-1 teaspoon
Water -2 cups
Tips
I would serve this with a side salad.
Directions
Rinse millet in bowl , drain and set it aside
Heat oil in a saucepan. Add mustard seed and let them pop. Add onions, stir and slow cook until golden. Add turmeric, green chilies and stir. Add millet and stir until it's coated with spices and dry. Add two cups of water and salt and bring it to boil. Cover and simmer for 40 minutes. Fluff it with a fork add cilantro and peanuts stir and serve.
