Indian Potato and Chickpea Patties Indian Potato and Chickpea Patties
Number of Servings: 4


    Chickpeas (garbanzo beans), 1 cup
    Potato, 3 medium
    Ginger Root, 1 Tbsp
    Cilantro, 1 tbsp
    Jalapeno Peppers, to taste
    Pepper, black, 1/2 tsp
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Lemon Juice, 1 tsp
    Onions, raw, 1/4 cup, chopped


Cook potatoes and mash. Coarsely mash chickpeas. Mix all ingredients together. Oil your hands and divide the mixture into 10 portions. Make each portion into a 1/2 inch thick patty. Shallow fry with cooking spray or olive oil until both sides of patty are golden brown.

Serving Size: 3 patties
