    Ground beef, 16 oz
    Bread crumbs, dry, grated, plain, .2 cup (i use matzoh meal or oat bran or oatmeal grated in food processor)
    Egg substitute, liquid (Egg Beaters), .25 cup
    Parsley, dried, 1 tsp
    Salt, 1 dash
    Pepper, black, 1 dash
    *Onion powder, 1 tbsp
    garlic powder


the leaner the beef, the less calories and fat.


season meat, mix lightly, add egg substitute and mix well. add crumbs and sprinkle cold water over them. mix thoroughly. form into whatever size ball you prefer. put in microwave roasting pan with drip tray or layered paper towels. cover and microwave 6 minutes. add to your favorite sauce and cook 10 minutes.
