Like a stir-fry on a thin bun covered with a sweet sauce! Like a stir-fry on a thin bun covered with a sweet sauce!
Number of Servings: 5


    1 tsp margarine
    450 gr extra-lean cooked smoked ham diced
    1 large onion minced
    1 large green pepper diced
    4 large celery stalks diced
    1 Can Dole pineapple chunks in pineapple juice (398 ml)
    3/4 C water
    2 tbsp cornstarch
    1 tbsp soy sauce
    To taste: hot pepper sauce
    5 PC Thins Red Pepper Round Buns


1. Warm up the thin buns in the oven.
2. Melt margarine in saucepan, add onions, green pepper and celery; saute over moderate heat for 3-4 min. Add ham, sauté for additional 3-4 min. Set aside.
3. Drain pineapple reserving juice. Add water to juice. Combine cornstarch and soy sauce with pineapple liquid. Bring to boil and stir constantly until desired consistency.
4. Add pineapple to ham and veggie.
Serve ham and pineapple mixture in the warm bun and cover with sauce.

Enjoy immediately.
