Introduction

This is a combination of a couple of different meatloaf recipes. It's taken a lot of trial and error to get here, but it's our favorite way to eat it! Ingredients

    Meatloaf:
    8 oz extra lean ground beef
    8 oz ground pork
    8 oz lean ground veal
    1/3 cup skim milk
    1/3 cup ketchup
    1 egg
    3/4 cup wheat germ
    2 tsp steak seasoning
    2 TBSP worchestershire sauce
    1 packet Lipton Onion Soup Mix

    Sauce:
    4 TBSP ketchup
    3 tsp yellow mustard
    2 TBSP honey

Directions

In large bowl, combine meat, egg, and onion soup. In a separate bowl combine milk, ketchup, worchestershire sauce, steak seasoning. Add to meat mixture. Add in wheat germ. Combine all ingredients throughly but do not over mix.

Preheat oven to 350. Cover Baking sheet with foil and form a 2 inch tall rectangle with the meat in the center of the pan. Bake for 45 minutes. Spoon off grease and coat meatloaf with sauce mixture. Bake for 15 more minutes.
