Introduction

SO yummy! You will never buy hummus again! SO yummy! You will never buy hummus again!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    - 1 can of black beans (drain & reserve liquid)
    - 1 can of garbanzo beans (drained)
    - 2 cloves garlic
    - 2 Tblspn lemon juice
    - 1 and 1/2 Tblspn tahini (sesame paste- you can find it in your grocery store, usually with the international items)
    - 3/4 tsp cumin
    - 1/2 tsp salt
    - 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
    - 1/4 tsp paprika

Directions

Mince the garlic in a food processor (or a blender). Add the black beans and garbanzo beans and 2 Tblspn of the reserve liquid. Add the lemon juice, tahini, spices and salt and process until smooth- scraping down the sides as needed. Add additional seasoning and liquid to taste. Garnish with greek olives. I like to eat with carrots or whole wheat pita bread.
