1 skillet quick and easy meal 1 skillet quick and easy meal
Number of Servings: 4

1 pound lean ground beef (can substitute ground chicken, turkey, pork, or venison)
    6oz pasta - any type
    1 cup tomato sauce
    .5 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
    1 cup water
    italian mixed seasoning
    1 tsp minced garlic

Alternate Ideas:
*cheddar cheese and chicken broth instead of mozzarella cheese, tomato sauce, and water. Plus add in broccoli

1) In a large skillet, brown the ground beef, italian seasoning and garlic together, then drain
2) Add in the tomato sauce and pasta, stir and allow to begin to bubble
3) Slowly add in water until the pasta is just barely submerged
4) bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer - stirring occasionally
5) when the pasta is tender and most of the water has been absorbed, add in the cheese and stir well
6) Continue cooking a little while longer to ensure cheese is thoroughly mixed and heated
Serve and Enjoy
