You can use whatever you like:
Chicken or tofu
spinach or lettuce
pepper (NO SALT)
other healthy food topping(s)
Reminder: This is a salad, it is meant to be a healthy meal. DO NOT add a tiny bit of lettuce and a lot of toppings. This will do no good.

2. Boil eggs (if needed)

- EX: peeling oranges or slicing tomatoes
4. Put together your salad
I personally like to make sure that my spinach is dry before I put my salad together (sometimes the water from off of the lettuce makes the salad and toppings soggy). REMEMBER: you are making a SALAD so don't use large amounts of toppings. I just sprinkle the toppings on my salad for flavor.
Please Note: I did not have a picture of my salad, this is my father's salad.
I take a large handful salad and sometimes even two. Them I add some mandarin oranges and dried cranberries. Next I add the hard boiled egg (sliced) and add pepper on top. I will sometimes eat the salad just like that with no dressing, but when I want to have dressing I use a light vinegar dressing.
I will post the "recipe" for that at a later date.
