Introduction

This recipe is from allrecipes.com and has over 1200 reviews and 4.5 star rating. I used self rising flour instead. I also made one loaf with pecans and one with cranberries and walnuts that you put on salad. My husband said it was the best banana bread I ever made. Ingredients

    2 cups self rising flour
    1 cup butter
    2 cups sugar
    4 eggs
    1 cup chopped pecans

Tips

I used pecans in one loaf and cranberries and walnuts in the other.
I probably would use 1 tsp vanilla 1/2 tsp cinn and split the sugar, one cup white one cup brown next time just to see if it taste different. It can't taste better!

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 F. Grease and flour two 9x5 inch loaf pans.

Mix butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time mixing after each addition. Add bananas and mix and then stir in flour to wet mixture. Add nuts of your choice or raisins.

Serving Size: Makes 2 loafs
