Ingredients

    0.5 cups all purpose flour
    0.75 cup sugar
    1.5 tsp baking soda
    1.5 tsp salt
    0.5 cups cornmeal
    1 cup all purpose flour
    0.75 cup molasses
    1 large egg, lightly beaten
    2 cups skim milk
    8 tbs Shedd Spread margarine
    1 tsp vanilla


Directions

Makes 2 loaves, 16 slices each.

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Spray two 9x5 loaf pans.
Sift together 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt. Stir in cornmeal and wheat flour. Stir in remaining ingredients until all flour is moistened. Pour into pans. Bake for 1 hour.
Remove bread from pans and cool.
Slice. I freeze one loaf.
