    3 medium garlic cloves
    1 cup fresh basil leaves, washed & patted dry
    1/2 cup coarsely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
    1/4 cup pine nuts, lightly toasted in a dry skillet
    1/2 cup best quality olive oil
    3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
    freshly ground black pepper


1. Combine garlic, basil, parsley and pine nuts in bowl of food processor.
2. Continue processing and add oil in a slow steady stream.
3. Stop machine and add cheese, salt and pepper.
4. Taste for seasoning, then toss with hot pasta.
5. Serve promptly.
