    1 pound 93% Lean Ground Beef
    2 Links Mild Italian Sausage
    2 small cans Tomato Sauce
    1 small can Tomato Paste
    3/4 cup of Water
    1 large can Crushed Tomatoes
    1/4 cup diced Onion
    1 tsp Garlic Powder (or 1 clove fresh)
    1Tbsp Italian Seasoning
    fresh ground pepper and sea salt to taste


Cut sausage link casing off, and crumble meat. Brown sausage and ground beef in a large pot with onion. Add all other ingredients. Heat to boil, then cover and simmer on low heat. It will be done in as soon as 20 minutes, however, the longer you simmer the more flavorful the sauce. So, we usually simmer for at least an hour.
Serve with your favorite pasta. We use whole wheat linguine.
