    2 t. EVOO
    1 med. yellow onion
    2 cloves garlic
    2 t. chili pepper
    1/4 t. cayenne
    1/2 t. cumin
    1/2 t. oregano
    2 15-oz cans black beans, rinsed
    1 c. water
    1 T. tomato paste


heat oil, add onion and cook stiring until translucen 4-5 minutes. Add garlic and cook, stirring constantly 30 seconds. add spices, stirring until fragrant about 30 seconds more. add beans, water and tomato paste, stir to combine. bring to simmer, reduce heat to med-low and cook, stirring occasionally, until beans are heated through and sauce is slightly thickened, 8-10 minutes. Serve warm.
