    Slice a loaf of French bread
    1 cup of brown sugar
    5 tbsp of Smart Balance Buttery spread
    6 large eggs
    1 1/2 cup of milk, 1%
    1 tbsp of vanilla extract
    2 tbsp cinnamon


Melt 3 tbsp of butter and add 3/4 cup of brown sugar. Spread this mixture in the bottom of a 9 x 13 pan. Place one layer of bread slices. Beat the 6 eggs with a fork, add in the 1.5 cup of milk and 1 tbsp of vanilla. Ladle 1/2 mixture over the bread in pan. Sprinkle 1 tbsp of cinnamon and 1/8 cup of brown sugar ontop of the layer. Spread the Smart Balance on each of the remaining slices of bread. Create another layer of bread then ladle the remaining egg, milk mixture over the bread. Sprinkle the remaining cinnamon and brown sugar on the top. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator over night. In the morning, pre-heat oven to 375 and cook for 45 minutes. Serve with maple syrup.
