A great replacement for rice or pasta. The Wild Roots Pearl Harvest Couscous has Israeli couscous, Italian orzo pasta, baby garbanzo beans and red quinoa. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 1/4 cup Wild Roots Pearl Harvest Couscous
    1 3/4 cup Water
    2 tsp Better Than Bullion Chicken Base or other chicken flavour
    1/2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
    1/2 tsp Salt
    1/2 tsp coarsely ground Black Pepper
    1/2 tsp Garlic powder
    2 tsp Kraft Parmesan Cheese
    1/2 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar

Directions

Bring water to boil, add couscous, chicken base, coconut or olive oil, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Reduce heat, cover and cook for 10 minutes. Remove lid and let sit for 10 minutes. Add balsamic vinegar and parmesan cheese and fluff with fork.
Serve with favourite chicken and vegetable dish.
