2 small dessert apples, peeled, cored and sliced
1 cup cloudy apple juice
1 cup water
1 tsp dried sage ( or 1 tbsp fresh)
1/8 tsp sea salt
freshly ground black pepper

Preheat the oven to gas mark 3 325F 170C.
