    Ingredients: 1 tsp. butter
    1 egg
    tsp. baking powder
    tsp. cinnamon
    2 tsps. Splenda
    cup golden flaxseed meal


I have at times prepared the dry ingredients in small storage containers or zip lock bags so I could just pull one out and add it to my egg and butter. These are quick and easy and keep me feeling satisfied for the entire morning.


First, Place the butter in a mug and microwave it about 25 sec or until melted. Add the egg, baking powder, cinnamon, and Splenda and mix really well. Add the flaxseed and mix really, really well. Place back in the microwave and nuke it for 1.5 minutes. Remove from microwave and turn the mug over so it slides out. Slice it into two or three pieces. Top with peanut butter, or butter. Very delicious and it gives you a lot of fiber.

You can change out the flavoring and make it savory instead of sweet, like garlic powder and cayenne pepper or whatever you like best.
