Start your day with a balanced high protein hot cereal! Start your day with a balanced high protein hot cereal!
Number of Servings: 1


    2 T Hot cereal mix (rolled oats, rice farina, gluten free grain mix, etc.)

    3/4 c water (cook hot cereal in water 2-3 min, then add remaining ingredients)

    3 T textured vegetable protein
    1 T ground flax seed
    2 T unflavored protein powder
    1/4 t cinnamon

    (can use flavored protein powder and omit cinnamon)


use tall bowl and watch cereal to be sure it doesn't boil over.


mix water and hot cereal mix, microwave 2-3 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and microwave 2 more minutes. Allow cereal to stand 1 min and thicken. Top with milk and no calorie sweetener.

Serving Size: Makes one 1 & 1/2 cup serving
