Introduction

Easy, good. Easy, good.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1/2 cup skim milk
    1/3 cup quick oats
    1/3 cup flour
    1 T. brown sugar
    1 t. baking powder
    1/8 t. salt
    1/8 t. cinnamon
    1 beaten egg
    1 T. canola oil


Tips

I'm going to try using whole wheat flour instead of white.


Directions

1. Microwave the milk in a small bowl until hot. Add the oats, cover and let stand for 5 minutes.
2. Meanwhile mix together flour, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. (I use the sifter.)
3. In a small bowl, stir together the egg, oil, and brown sugar. (I use the measuring cup I just used to measure the milk.) Then, stir together all the parts, just until combined.
4. Use 1/4 cup for each pancake om a hot, slightly greased griddle.

Serving Size: Serves two
