Number of Servings: 6


    1 lb ground beef, 85/15
    1 whole egg
    1/2 cup breadcrumbs
    8 oz tomato sauce, divided
    1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
    1/2 tbsp onion powder
    1 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp black pepper


Can also bake as individual muffin-size. Reduce bake time to 25 minutes.


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, eggs, Worcestershire sauce, onion, and 4 oz of toato sauce. Shape into a loaf and place in a 8x4-inch loaf pan. Top with tomato sauce remaining tomato sauce.

Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until internal temperature measures 160 degrees F (70 degrees C); the meat should be well done, with no trace of pink. Remove from oven, and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
