    Cut the chicken into chunks
    See instructions for other preparation


Gently fry celery and red pepper. Add chicken cut into pieces. Add sage (I used a sprig of fresh sage from the garden, torn into pieces) and black pepper to taste. Add walnuts and heat until all cooked. Add balsamic vinegar towards the end of cooking. Meanwhile steam the mushrooms and serve on top.

  • Was thinking of making chicken walnut salad tonight but this was better. Great idea about the balsamic at the end and I did use more mushrooms and also some sage I had growing near the back door. Thanks for sharing a great recipe! - 7/29/13
