    Sausage- Jimmy Dean BOLD, 16 oz
    1 tbsp Basil,dried
    1 lb. Can Tomatoes
    2 (6 oz)cans Tomato Paste,
    2 Eggs large, slightly beaten

    1/2C Parmesan Cheese, shredded
    2 tbsp Parsley, dried

    6 oz Lasagna Noodles - Whole Wheat,
    1 lb Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk,


In large sauce pan, brown sausage, stirring to break up chunks. When browned, add basil, canned tomatoes and cans of tomato paste.

Turn down and simmer for 30 minutes.

While simmering sauce, bring 4-6 qts of salted water to boil and cook lasagna noodles to desired texture. Rinse in cold water and set aside.

When sauce has simmer for 30 minutes, add a spoonful of hot sauce to beaten eggs, sitr and then add another spoonful to eggs and stir, Then stir the eggs into the pot of sauce.

Add the parmesan and parsley to the sauce, stir in and turn off sauce.

To assemble, spray a cake sheet pan and layer 1/3 of noodles then 1/3 of sauce and 1/3 of mozzarella cheese, then repeat so you have about three layers.

When ready to bake, preheat oven to 375F and bake for 30 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes and cut into 8 equal servings.
