    1 medium head cabbage shredded
    4 T butter melted
    1 med onion chopped
    2 cups chicken broth
    4 medium potatoes peeled and sliced thin
    1/4 cup raw rice
    1 tsp sage
    1/2 cup parmesan
    salt and pepper to taste


sauté onion in butter. add cabbage sauté 5 minutes. Add broth. stir well. place in greased casserole. tpop with sliced potaoes then rice, spice and grated cheese. Bake 25 minutes covered. uncover and bake another 10 minutes until rice is tender. If dry sprinkle with boiling water when uncovering
