Ingredients

    3 mashed ripe Bananas
    1/3 cup Applesauce
    2 cups Quick Oats
    1/4 cup skim Milk
    1/2 cup Raisins
    1 tsp Vanilla
    1 tsp Cinnamon
    1/4 tsp Almond Extract

Tips

You may also drop by spoonfuls onto a cookie sheet and bake for 15 - 20 min. Make them as small or large as you want.


Directions

mash bananas with fork if needed
assemble all ingredients and beat with rotary beater until combined.
Spread into baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes @ 350, cut into 8 squares

Serving Size: makes 8 bars

    Very Good
    Very moist. I added 2 fake eggs (2 Tablespoons gelatin), additional 1/4 cup milk, and 3 Tablespoons of dextrose (to sweeten). I baked for 45 minutes (at high altitude location). Take out when edges are brown. Great recipe! Will try some more variations. Good alternative to drier, chewier bars. - 10/23/15
