Number of Servings: 6


    4 slices of bacon
    2 lbs of ground sirlion
    2 14oz cans of Hunts diced tomoto with balsamic, basil, and onion
    3 T of chili powder
    2 T McCormick Grillmates Montreal Steak seasoning
    1 red pepper cut up
    1 large onion
    4 cloves of garlic
    1 bottel or can of beer
    4 oz of smoked chedder cheese


Heat a medium pot over medium-high heat. Chop teh bacon into 1-inch pieces. Put bacon in pot. Brown bacon until crisp and reserve on a plate lined with paper towels. To the bacon rederings add the meat and break up with a spoon. Let meat brown for 3 minutes, then add garlic, 3/4 of the onions, bell pepper, and chili powder. The remaining raw onions are for topping the chili.

Cook the meat and onions together for 5 or 6 minutes, then deglaze teh pan with the beer. Add the tomatoes next and stir them in to combine. Simmer the chili over low heat for 10 minutes. Top bowls of chili with cheese, bacon, and finely chopped raw onion
