    19 oz can garbanzo beans (1 1/2 cups)
    1 cup peanut butter
    2 cups dates (pre-soaked in water for 1 hour)
    1 tsp vanilla
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup ground flax seed
    1/2 cup hemp heart seeds
    1 cup protein powder
    1 1/2 cups rolled oats
    1 cup chocolate chips


In a food processor, combine garbanzo beans, peanut butter, dates, vanilla, salt, flax, hemp, protein powder until smooth. Add the oats and pulse to distribute evenly through mixture. By hand stir in chocolate chips. Spread in a wax paper lined 13 X 9 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 - 18 minutes. Allow to cool, then cut into bars. Refrigerate for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
