Introduction

Ingredients

    1 10.5-oz Kraft Miniature Marshmallows [1 bag]
    1/2 stick [1/4 C] Butter, unsalted
    6 C Rice Krispies cereal
    2 T Jif Peanut Butter, reduced fat

Tips

Buttering the spatula makes it much easier to spread the sticky mixture.


Directions

Butter the bottom of a 9x13" baking dish and set aside. In a large saucepan melt butter over a medium heat. Once butter is completely melted, add marshmallows. Watch closely stirring often. When butter / marshmallow mix is completely melted, add in peanut butter and stir until mixed. Take off heat. Add Rice Krispies about 2 cups at a time and stir while mixture is still warm. Coat cereal completely.

Use a buttered spatula to spread Rice Krispie Treat mixture into the bottom of the buttered baking dish. Wait until treats are mostly cool before cutting into small squares.
