Ingredients
-
1 pound of ground beef
1 box of Potatoes Au Gratin (Betty Crocker)
Taco Seasoning (Small packet)
Milk
Water
1 tbsp. of butter
Onion Salt
Cheddar cheese
Tostitos Queso Dip
Rotel tomatoes & green chilies
Tips
If it tastes too spicy, you can use just a regular cheese sauce instead of the mild Tostitos queso dip.
I also like to add Sour Cream for extra taste.
Directions
**Pre heat oven to 400**
1: Brown the ground beef, season lightly with onion salt
2: Drain and return to pan
3: Add one can of Rotel tomato & chilies and a few dashes of taco seasoning
4: Simmer on stove (stir occasionally)
5: In a baking dish mix together the ingredients as directed on box of Au Gratin potatoes, sprinkle cheddar cheese on top
6: Bake the potatoes in oven approx. 15 mins
7: Remove potatoes from oven, spread the meat and Rotel across the top of the potatoes, lightly spread the queso cheese (Tostitos kind works best)
8. Cover with tin foil and place in oven for another 10 mins
Makes 4 servings :)
Serving Size: Makes about 5 or 6 servings
