Number of Servings: 10


    All-Purpose White Flour, 3 cups
    Baking Powder, 2 tsp
    Baking Soda, .5 tsp
    Salt, 1 tsp
    Granulated Sugar, 1.5 tsp
    Harris Teeter Plain Non Fat Yogurt [8 oz/227g = 1 serving], .33 serving
    Water, tap, .66 cup (8 fl oz)
    Canola Oil, 2 1tsp


The flavour is best if you use a dab of melted butter in the skillet when you scorch these; but PAM is more diet friendly. XOXOX


In a large bowl, combine the dry ingredients.

Add the water, yogurt, and oil and mix until a soft dough forms [and it will be very soft].

Knead for a bit til you can form a soft ball of dough.

With a serrated knife, cut the dough into ten wedges. Roll each wedge into a ball with your hands.

On a floured surface, roll each ball out into an oval shape.

Take a large skillet and heat it on the stovetop to medium high. Place an oval of rolled out dough into the hot skillet until it bubbles; then, with kitchen tongs, flip it over to bubble the other side, making sure the bubbles are good n' brown.

Place the "done" naan in a warm oven on some foil while you continue the skillet process with the remaining dough.

Serve with your favourite Indian curry or as you would any flat bread.
