    1 tbsp olive oil
    2 cups onion, diced
    2 cups celery, diced
    2 cups snow peas
    1 large red bell pepper, chopped
    1 large orange or yellow bell pepper, chopped
    1 large green bell pepper, chopped
    1/3 cup teryaki sauce
    2 tsp garlic powder
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    40 Sneider's Meatless Meatballs (approx. 1 bag)


- Store bought meatless meatballs are becoming hard to find. Here in Canada, Metro carrys both Sneiders and Yves brands while Loblaws carries a new brand called Zoglos. Stay tuned for a from-scratch meatless meatball recipe called "Kays Meatless Meatballs" which should be posted by Christmas 2013. from scratch ones will be a lot less "processed" and will hopefully contain a lot less salt too.


1) Heat olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add onion & celery. Fry until onion starts to turn translucent.

2) Add snow peas, bell peppers, teryaki sauce, garlic powder and pepper. Mix well, cover and cook for about 8 minutes.

3) Add veggie meatballs. If cooking from frozen, cover and cook for 5 min then uncover for the remaining 5 min. If cooking from thawed, just cook uncovered for another 10 min.

Serve immediately.

Serving Size: Makes 4 servings with 10 meatballs each
