    8 cups of oats
    ½ cup of raw sunflower nuts
    ½ cup of sesame seeds
    ¾ cup of unsweetened coconut
    1 cup of sliced almonds
    2/3 cup of oil (I use either Saffola which is safflower oil or canola oil)
    2/3 cup of honey


Stir together in mixing bowl
Place a layer of the mix so it covers the bottom of a roasting pan and gently brown under the broiler, stirring every minute or two until you set off the smoke alarm and the color overall is a golden brown. Then let it cool in a fresh mixing bowl.
Repeat browning layers in the roasting pan until the mixing bowl is empty.
After the granola has cooled, loosen up the clumps a bit and store in a container with a tight lid in the refrigerator.

Serving Size: makes 36 1/3-cup servings
