Ingredients

    Bacon 1 lb.
    Canned tomatoes, 3 large cans (do not drain)
    Bush's Butter beans, two cans, drained
    Onions, 3 cups chopped coarse
    garlic, 4 cloves, chopped
    Bay leaf 2-4
    Paprika, 1 Tbsp.
    2 T. Olive oil

Directions

Fry bacon until fairly crisp, set aside until slightly cool and break into bite size pieces.
Heat 2 T. olive oil and saute onions in soup pot.
Add bacon back to pot. Add tomato juice from tomato can. Crush whole tomatoes and add to pot.
Add two cans butter beans drained.
Add 2-4 bay leafs, 1 Tbsp. paprika, and chopped garlic.
Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer for 60 minutes.

Can be served as side dish or main meal.
