    1/2 t dry mustard
    8 oz 2% sharp cheddar cheese
    1 pkg whole wheat penne pasta
    9 oz Hillshire Farm Black Forest Ham 97% fat free, cut into 1/2 inch strips
    2 T cornstarch
    1 t salt
    1/4 t black pepper
    2 c nonfat milk
    2 T salted butter


Make white sauce:
In a medium saucepan, combine cornstarch, salt and pepper; using wire whisk, stir in milk until smooth. Add butter. Stir constantly until brought to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat. Stir dry mustard into white sauce. Add 1 3/4 c of cheese and stir until melted.
At the same time as the sauce is cooking, cook penne pasta according to box instructions to produce extra firm.
Add drained pasta to sauce and stir until covered. Add sliced ham to pasta and mix together.
Pour into a greased 2 qt casserole dish. Top pasta with 1/4 c of cheese. Bake in preheated 375 degree oven for 25 minutes.
