    1 1/3 lbs. lean ground beef (85%)
    3/4 cu. post grape nuts cereal
    3/4 cu. whole milk
    1/2 cu chopped onion
    1 egg
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 tsp ground nutmeg (more for sauce)
    3 TB butter
    3 TB flour
    3-4 cups beef broth


Add additional couple teaspoons of nutmeg to the gravy while meatballs are cooking - it adds better flavor to the sauce!


Mix ground beef, onion, grape nuts, milk, egg, parsley, salt, pepper, nutmeg together with hands. Heat up electric skillet with 1 TB oil and begin forming meatballs and browning on al sides. When mostly cooked, remove from skillet and add Butter, flour and mix, gradually add beef broth to form a gravy. Add meatballs back in and cook until done. Enjoy over extra wide egg noodles with a green vegetable.
