My husband has decided that he prefers this gravy now over normal fatty ones. :-) My husband has decided that he prefers this gravy now over normal fatty ones. :-)
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 cups chicken stock (use beef if making a beef gravy)
    1/2 cup white flour
    1.5 cups skim milk
    salt and pepper to taste
    Optional: Sprinkle of sage and/or thyme or just some poultry seasoning. Sometimes I'll add garlic powder too

Tips

If making beef gravy, add a sprinkle of worcestershire sauce.


Directions

Put chicken stock in a pot and bring to just before the boiling point. Whisk in flour until no lumps remain and add skim milk and seasonings if desired. Continue cooking until thickened.
