1 Pound lean ground turkey, chicken or beef (This recipe is calculated with turkey as the protein.)
1 Packet of McCormick Chili seasoning mix of choice
2 8 oz. cans of tomato sauce -OR- 1 14.5 oz. can of (undrained) diced tomatoes.
2 15 or 16 oz can of Kidney or Pinto beans (undrained)
(Mix and Match the beans for different flavors)
I like to add a can of dark red kidney beans and a can of light red kidney beans. The recipe is calculated for 2 cans. Remember to add nutritional information for toppings such as shredded cheese, chopped onions or sour cream.
