Introduction

This is my moms recipe that she found in a cook book. She made some changes to perfect the taste. This is my moms recipe that she found in a cook book. She made some changes to perfect the taste.
Number of Servings: 48

Ingredients

    1 cup butter
    1 1/2 cups sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 cups flour
    2 teaspoons cream of tartar
    1 teaspoon baking soda
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    1 cup cinnamon chips
    3 tablespoons sugar
    3 teaspoons cinnamon

Directions

Mix butter, 1 1/2 cups sugar, and eggs. Blend flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt. Stir into butter mixture. Roll into 1" balls. Mix 2 tablespoons sugar with cinnamon and roll cookie balls in this mixture. Place 2" apart on ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 400F for 8 to 10 minutes.
