Ingredients

    Butter, salted, 8 tbsp
    Brown Sugar, 1/2 cup
    Vanilla Extract, 1 tsp
    Baking Soda, 3/4 tsp
    Salt, 1/2 tsp
    Banana, fresh, 4 medium (7" to 7-7/8" long)
    Honey, 1/4 cup
    Egg, fresh, whole, raw, 2 large
    Flour, white, 2 cup

Tips

Use whole wheat flour instead of white flour for a even healthier option


Directions

1.Preheat oven to 350
2.In a large bowl, beat together the butter and sugar until smooth. Add the vanilla, baking soda, salt, and bananas, beating until well combined. The mixture should be smooth, with scattered chunks of banana
3.Beat in honey and eggs
4.Add flour, stirring until smooth
5.Spoon batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top. Let it rest at room temperature for 10 minutes
6.Bake for 50 minutes, then gently lay a piece of aluminum foil acorss the top, to prevent over browning. Bake for another 10 to 15 minutes or until a long toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
7. Allow loaf to cool for 10 minutes before removing it from the pan


Serving Size: makes 1 9"x 5" loaf pan (16 to 18 servings)
