This is a decadent, "healthy" Sunday brunch treat!!! This is a decadent, "healthy" Sunday brunch treat!!!
Number of Servings: 12

1 loaf of frozen bread dough, baked as instructions read a few days ahead of making this dish.
8 -12 oz fat free cream cheese
    4 large eggs
    1 tsp cinnamon
1.5 cup Smucker's Simply Fruit Strawberry Jam (You could also use the low sugar jam)
    1/2 cup skim milk
    1/2 cup maple syrup
    12 large strawberries

Bake your frozen bread as directions and let it sit for 3 -5 days ahead of time. On Sunday morning, slice the bread into about 12 slices.
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
Spray a 9x9 baking dish with PAM and then place one layer of bread on the bottom of the dish (I put 4 slices and then split 2 more and squish them into the gaps so the entire bottom of the dish is covered.)
I then beat the eggs, egg whites, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon together and pour about half of the mixture over the 1st layer of bread.
Mix the cream cheese and strawberry jam -2 tbs, and spread all but about 2/3 cup over the 1st layer of bread and egg mixture. Place the 2nd layer of bread over it and then pour remaining egg mixture over it all. Cover with foil and bake and 350 degree's for about 35 minutes.
While the French toast bakes, slice 12 large strawberries (I fan slice them to make them look pretty). Also, mix the remaining jam with the maple syrup and heat over low heat while the French toast bakes).
Let it cool for about 5 minutes and then spread the remaining cream cheese mixture over the top of the French toast. Slice into 12 slices, drizzle with syrup mixture and then place 1 fanned strawberry on each slice.

Serving Size: Makes 12 slices of french toast

Number of Servings: 12
