Ingredients

    1 lb. Ground beef, lean
    1 1/2 cup onions, chopped
    1 cup green or yellow peppers, chopped
    1/2 cup red peppers
    1 jalepeno pepper, chopped
    1 large can whole tomatoes, chopped
    1 large can chili beans
    1 can tomato juice
    5 tbsp chili powder
    3 tsp tabasco sauce
    2 cups water

Tips

The longer this soup simmers the better it tastes.


Directions

brown hamburger in large dutch oven adding onions and peppers half way through the cooking process (about 10 minutes). Drain grease. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil over medium heat. Boil for 10 minutes then reduce heat to low and cook 50 minutes stirring occasionally.
