Ingredients


    Bread Crumbs,Dehydrated Chopped Onion, 1 tbsp
    vital wheat gluten flour, 10.50 oz
    Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
    Vegetable base bouillon, 6 tsp (Dissolve if cubed)
    Pepper, black, 1 tsp
    Garlic powder, 1 tsp
    Rosemary, dried, 1 tsp
    Thyme, ground, 1 tsp
    Paprika, 3 tbsp
    Water, tap, 1.5 cup (8 fl oz)
    Dehydrated Chopped Onion, 1 tbsp

Tips

Serve with stout brown bread, sauerkraut or braised cabbage, and hearty mustard.


Directions

Place all dry ingredients in a food processor; whirl until well-blended. Add oil and water, and reconstituted bouillon, if using cubes, and process until homogeneous. Divide into approximately three-ounce pieces; roll into logs of about six to seven inches long, wrap in parchment, like a tootsie roll, and tie the ends with string. Steam for about 45 minutes, turning occasionally, until they reach an internal temp of over 180 degrees.
