Introduction

This is so easy and takes only about 10 minutes to prepare. Serves 1 or you can make it in larger quantities for a family. This is so easy and takes only about 10 minutes to prepare. Serves 1 or you can make it in larger quantities for a family.

Ingredients

    1 cup canned red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
    1 cup canned stewed tomatoes
    1 tablespoon chili powder



Tips

I use a Mexican stewed tomato that has chilies and onion in it.
Serve with warm tortillas if you wish or tortilla chips.
Can top with guacamole, chopped tomatoes, chopped onion as desired.
Substitute black beans if that is your preference.


Directions

Mix all in a sauce pan. Heat over medium heat until thoroughly heated. Pour into a bowl and garnish as desired. Enjoy!
