Ingredients

    8 oz 93% lean ground beef
    8 oz 93% lean ground turkey
    1/2 cup chopped onion
    1 10-oz can Rotel
    1/2 tsp ground cumin
    1/2 tsp chili powder
    1/2 tsp dried oregano

Directions

Place beef, turkey and onion in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Cook, breaking up meat with a wooden spoon until cooked through, about 10 minutes. Transfer to colander and drain off fat. Wipe out the pan. Return the meat to the pan and add tomatos (Rotel), cumin, chili powder and oregano. Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until most of the liquid has evaporated, 3-6 minutes.

  • So good & so easy! I used a pound of ground beef instead of adding turkey as a personal preference. I also used whole wheat tortillas instead and added cheese to top it off. I like the use of Rotel instead of having to dice my own tomatoes - I used mild with green chili's in it. It was delicious! - 12/1/13
