Introduction

This cake is incredilbly simple to make and you certainly can't beat the calories! This cake is incredilbly simple to make and you certainly can't beat the calories!
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    2 eggs
    1 3/4 cup splenda
    1 Tbsp cinnamon
    1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
    6 medium apples (Gala work) peel, core, slice
    2 cups flour
    2 teaspoons baking soda

Tips

Try adding raisins, dried cranberries/cherries or nuts to change it up or drizzle with caramel topping :)


Directions

Preheat oven to 350. In a large bowl, mix eggs, splenda, cinnamon and applesauce. Peel and slice the apples and add to mixture (keep apples moist with batter to help with browning.) Mix together baking soda and flour in separate bowl then add to wet ingredients. Mix well making sure flour is completely mixed in. Pour mixture into 2 greased 9 round pans or spring form. Bake for approximately 55 minutes.

Serving Size: Makes 2 cakes with 8 slices or 16 slices in total
